OK, I think that what has been my problem, is this:-

There seems to be quite a long pause when clicking on 'Upload File', and I have been assuming that nothing is happening.

Apparently patience does have its rewards. So does persistence.

And here endeth the first lesson.

That's a good question.

I have never been able to use the the file description box, nothing shows when you write in it.

Just post the picture with a description in the normal way.

Thanks Pat. I have tried various ways. You have confirmed really that I am doing nothing wrong.

I can write in the File Description box if I do not write a message first. But then when you try to submit, a pop-up tells me I must enter a message, and that doesn't seem possible by the time you've got to that stage.

If I enter a message first, then as you say, you can't use the File Description box.

I'll do as you say and just post a description in the normal way.

The 'file description' is a bit of an enigma...

Maybe one of these days, with a clear head I may be able to sort it.

Spike, sorry, I didn't see this before. Yes that is part of my backyard, and the house. It's what keeps me busy.

Brian......After you have posted your first photo you will be taken back to the window where you have posted your message and photo etc...to post another picture in the same post all you have to do is click on the "Attach File" which is in blue at the bottom left hand side and then go through the same routine as for the original posting....before you do that make sure your curser is below the picture you have already posted......Hope that helps......................
