Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has said he wants to sign a free trade agreement with the UK "as soon as possible" after Britain's withdrawal from the European Union and claimed he will not "muck about" getting it done.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Theresa May in Downing Street Mr Turnbull said his Government;s approach is "very simple" and wants to sign an agreement as soon as the UK is legally able to do so.

The EU has stipulated that Mrs May cannot sign new deals with other nations until Brexit talks have concluded.

In a good-humoured exchange Mr Turnbull said: "As Britain moves to completing its exit from the EU, we stand ready to enter into a free trade agreement with the UK as soon as the UK is able to do so.

What did you say about Australia not wanting anything to do with us after brexit Slim.

I was trying  to put together a reasonable debate as to the ins and outs of the British Exit
We have to look at ALL possibilities and NOT go bull in a china shop as Boris seems to be doing
Boris has NO worries regarding finance but must consider the majority haven't got his wealth
Delboy knows Turnbull better than we do and tells me the man cannot be trusted

So my mate I will not enter into any more debates or winding up on this subject because both of us will not back down so we both will just have to wait and see

Just heard on the news that the BBC pay that turnip Chris Evans 2.2 million pounds a year.
I'm just glad I don't pay for a licence any more.

I am more annoyed about the in-equality of their pay schemes which put females much lower than males

Why should females doing the same job as males get paid a third LESS

On a personal basis I wouldn't pay Evans or Wright in blank washers

How is this going to work

Just heard on the news that householders are going to be asked to store wind and solar powered electricity in car batteries, and sell any spare to the government.

I wonder how many batteries we will need, and how much the government will subsidise us in the purchase of said batteries.
